KILN

KILN is a solo show about belonging and acceptance, set against the backdrop of the Hunting of the Earl of Rone festival in Combe Martin.

When Tara’s little brother Jed begins having nightmares about the Earl’s murder, she decides to retell the story for him. In doing so, she begins to interrogate for the first time the traditions she has grown up around and what they mean for her, and discovers the power of storytelling and its ability to cause chaos first-hand.

KILN will have its first outing at Exeter Northcott’s Elevate Festival in November 2026.
