Responding to Ruth D’Silva’s Bungalow, the piece draws on the idea of ‘short bones’, asking whether we can truly grow beyond what has stunted us.

Dramaturgically, I also wanted to explore how a wake might be forward-facing, looking to the future as well as back on the past, alongside Ruth’s question of why people love in places that don’t love them back.
