WOLVES
Re-Wright Night, Omnibus Theatre (2025)
2125. Mag is accused of witchcraft. But does witchcraft even really exist?
After escaping prison, Mag returns home hoping for a shred of normality — but her town has forsaken her, and the witchfinder is hot on her heels. Her freedom doesn’t last long.
Time ticks back to 2119. This is where the rumours begin. Mag, then fourteen, cradles her dead lamb after it’s attacked by wolves. The lamb bleats. Whispers spread: did she bring it back to life?
Two years later, witch hunts have ramped up. When Mag rescues the child from the lake, old rumours resurface about her ‘abilities’ and someone lets slip that she has a banned book under her floorboards…
WOLVES is a work-in-progress solo show about 22nd Century witches. It blends elements of magical realism and absurdism and explores ideas of retribution, radicalisation, protest, sacrifice and survival.
Act 1 was performed at Omnibus Theatre’s Re-Wright Night in November 2025.
